Food and feed safety We aim to meet the highest standards in all our food and feed products. Why it matters We want the products and commodities we supply to customers to be of the right quality, and safe for people and for the environment – in line with evolving rules and standards. Our approach to product quality helps to achieve this. We carry out wide ranging food safety and quality management procedures so that customers can be confident that all our food and feed products meet the highest international standards. Our approach As we manage the whole supply chain, we can ensure the products our customers receive meet their specific requirements and are consistent, reliable and high quality. All products are tested for quality and food safety by accredited authorities. We employ the best practice in quality control and food and feed safety management in all our operations and activities. These include: • Good Manufacturing Practice Feed Safety Assurance • International Featured Standards • ISO 22000 Food Safety Management • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems • Skal Biocontrole (organic products). Our performance in 2019 Our food and feed safety programmes were strictly adhered to during 2019 which led to us achieving our most important goal – ensuring that the products we supply to our customers and markets are safe.
