As one of the world’s leading exporters andmarketers of agricultural commodities, we also have a key role to play in feeding people and animals around the world. Ensuring the security of the food supply is vital – it helps create a better society and a better living environment. Community continued Reaching for the STARS Since 2015 Viterra Canada has been supporting the STARS air ambulance which serves rural communities across western Canada. For the fifth year running Viterra is sponsoring one of STARS’ key fundraising activities – the annual calendar that features stories of courageous patients who have benefited from the life-saving services of STARS air ambulance. The annual STARS calendar campaign is a long‑standing and important fundraiser for the organisation. The campaign is entering its 26th year and has raisedmillions of dollars to date, with over 500,000 door-to-door visits made each year. Each year Viterra has covered the full printing costs of the 70,000+ calendars sold across western Canada every year and offers them for sale at most Viterra facilities in the region. We recognise the critical importance of STARS to the wellbeing of people across western Canada, and like to support these brave first responders and the inspirational work they do on the front lines to help people every day. Our approach is to engage with communities and create sustainable value for society.
